20% of your tickets were moved over into the new season automatically. The rest were archived with last season — full backups of every balance and ticket count were taken before the switch.
Yes — the maximum stake is 5% of the total tickets pooled on that stock. If you stake past the cap, the extra tickets are refunded when the buy goes through. The stake slider warns you as you get close to the cap.
Two kinds. Community polls are straight votes on what the fund should buy or sell. Ticker polls are where you stake tickets on an outcome — pick right and you win a share of the pool, pick wrong and your stake is gone.
Yes. If the picks you stake on go against you, your balance can dip below zero. Stake what you are willing to lose.
Quarterly. Balances settle at the end of each quarter and payouts go out from there.

You can vote and stake on the site without it, but the extension is the main way tickets are earned — it is what tracks your watchtime. Chrome and Firefox are both supported.
